The Mountain Grove R-3 School District is seeking applications for a Occupational Therapist for the 2025-2026 school year. July 10, 2025 - Welding Instructor

OMTC is seeking applications for an Welding Instructor for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about training students in Welding Technology. Responsibilities include:

  • facilitate instruction and demonstrate advanced techniques in welding
  • manage the classroom/shop to ensure a productive and safe learning environment
  • prepare students for AWS welding certification
  • build strong relationships with industry and post-secondary partners
  • coordinate SkillsUSA activities for students

The applicant must be able to obtain Teacher Certification through one of the following paths:

  • Verify a Bachelor’s degree or higher in an area appropriate for the subject area being taught and four thousand (4,000) hours of DESE-approved, related occupational experience obtained within the most recent ten (10) years. 
  • Verify an associate’s degree in an area appropriate for the subject area being taught and five thousand (5,000) hours of DESE-approved, related occupational experience obtained within the most recent ten (10) years. 
  • Verify six thousand (6,000) hours of related occupational experience obtained within the most recent ten (10) years. 

**Additional coursework will be required through University of Central Missouri to receive teaching certification.

Support Staff Positions:  

June 13, 2025 - Alternative School Paraprofessional

The Mountain Grove R-III School District is currently seeking a paraprofessional for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified applicants must meet one of the following criteria: (1) have at least 36 college credit hours from an accredited college or university, or have completed the Frontline 20-hour substitute training and be eligible for a substitute certificate; or (2) have a passing score on the state-approved paraprofessional assessment.  This paraprofessional will support instruction and guidance to at-risk students assigned a long-term placement in an alternative school setting. July 10, 2025 - Parents as Teachers Educator

The Mountain Grove School District is seeking applications for the position of Parent Educator for the Parents As Teachers program for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. This position uses the PAT model to emphasize parent-child interaction, development centered parenting, and family well-being in the work with families from prenatal through kindergarten. The position provides education in the form of personal visits, group meetings, screenings, and links to a network of resources for parents and children. Applicants for the position must have 60 college hours and two years of early childhood experience or 5 years of experience in early childhood. Candidates must also be willing to complete the Missouri Model Certification.
